Our Genetic Health Guarantee
Rosehaven Homestead offers a Genetic Health guarantee on all its AKC Golden Retriever and Beagle puppies. This means that if, before the birthday of your puppy (designated in the title of the signed document), a veterinarian finds and confirms a debilitating genetic disorder and provides signed, medical proof that it is a direct result of poor genetics and breeding; then, upon the return of the dog, we will offer to replace the puppy (if a replacement is available) or offer a full refund of the puppy (any fees associated with delivery are not refundable) . This coverage mainly includes: severe hip and elbow dysplasia, and heart and eye disorders.
This guarantee is void after the puppy’s designated birthday, and it is not applicable if the necessary signed medical documents cannot be procured. It is also void if the owner is found to have maltreated the animal, or if it has been bred, raised in poor conditions, or spayed before it was a year old.
*This guarantee is only valid if you are the original purchaser of one of our puppies, and have proof the signed document we provide upon purchase, in your possession.
Our Healthy Puppy Guarantee
Rosehaven Homestead guarantees that all our puppies are healthy and free of infectious diseases and have received their first course of immunizations and de-worming. If you take your puppy to a vet within the first 72 hours from purchase, and he finds otherwise and proof is provided; upon the return of the puppy we will either offer to replace the puppy (if we have a replacement) or offer a full refund of the purchase price. (any fees associated with delivery are not refundable)
If the puppy is not inspected within a week from the purchase date by a qualified veterinarian, then this guarantee is void and not applicable to any situation. This guarantee does not cover parvo. Neither does it cover worms or parasites, unless they are found in a health-threatening quantity and originated in our possession.

Note:
Rosehaven Homestead will not be held liable for any costs incurred, including, but not limited to, diagnosis and treatment. We only ever offer a refund. Under all circumstances we will never refund more than the purchase price of the puppy, and that is conditioned upon the puppy’s return.
If, someday, life happens and you cannot keep the puppy, we will offer to take it back at all times. No refund, partial or whole, is guaranteed, but is negotiable under certain circumstances. We will try to be fair in all our dealings, so please feel free to talk to us if anything comes up.
