It was a lovely spring morning, washed and smelling fresh by yesterday’s rain – the kind that makes doing chores sheer joy. Leading all the puppies, Richard and I dashed down our aspen covered hillside, and half way down he tripped on a morel!

Chocolate Muffins

Have you ever been on a long trip and just needed a yummy snack? We have, and that is when I make chocolate muffins. They are deliciously rich, so definitely a treat. 🙂 Even Dad, who is not a chocolate lover (is any guy?) likes them!

A Set of Hands

I got a good look at a set of hands today – fine specimens too. Evidently, by their sinewy appearance, they belonged to a young active man. The fingers were long and lively; at one moment fluffing up his hair, or exercising their fine motor skills by picking up a pencil or grooming their nails, keeping them nice and clean, but rather blunt.
