Daisy is a very happy, energetic, intelligent, little beagle who is always ready to PLAY!! 🙂 I chose the beagle breed because they are small, short haired, full of energy, ever-happy, and forever look like PUPPIES!!
Beagles are one of the best rabbit hunters there are! (I have never trained Daisy to hunt but some day I might 🙂 ) Beagles are good at rabbit hunting because they have the third best nose in the world! (first is the blood hound, second the basset hound.) Naturally, they want to use it, so, if you do not really train your beagle, you might need a fenced back yard.
Beagles are a little more difficult to train, because they have such a good nose they can get distracted at times, However it is not impossible! I have seen a trained beagle! It is easier to train them with food because they LOVE food!!!
I bought Daisy so I could raise and train beagles. It has been a very enjoyable experience!!
Beagles come in a few different sizes, 15in, 13in, and 10in. So all you have to do is pick the right size for you! Daisy is around 15 inches.
So, if you want a spunky, sweet, and happy, sniffer, the beagle is the right dog for you!!

My husband and I lost our beagle, Snoopy, last November. He was 13. He gave us such enjoyment every single day!! And now, I think we are ready to have another! Appreciate you considering us to be loving parents again to one of the best breed of dogs there are.
